Boss Hero School PREP ACADEMY Curriculum
Amid rapid and constant change, much is required of leaders. Whether youā€™re a front-line manager or an experienced executive, learn how to activate employee commitment and create engaging workplaces in our interactive, evidence-based six-week virtual leadership masterclass.
Session 1: TRUST
Future Boss Heroes explore the foundations of effective leadership, focusing on the crucial distinction between positional and relational authority while creating psychologically safe workplaces.
Session 2: ADAPTABILITY
Leadership begins with self-awareness as students utilize an evidence-based personality assessment to identify their preferred and unconscious tendencies related to their style and approach.
Session 3: ENGAGEMENT
Based on Joe Mull's acclaimed book "Employalty," students discover the conditions that lead employees to want to join an organization, stay long term, and maintain an emotional and psychological commitment to their work.

COMMUNICATION
Boss Heroes master the distinct skills of giving feedback and coaching employees, understanding these as separate accountability and talent development interactions.
Session 5: TEAMWORK
Drawing from Joe Mull's "No More Team Drama," students identify and learn to nurture the four interactions that lead to a team becoming a high-performing, close-knit workgroup.
Session 6: IMPLEMENTATION
In this culminating session, Boss Heroes explore the ongoing habits and best practices that sustain leadership success over time.
HOW IT WORKS
The Boss Hero School Prep Academy unfolds over 6 consecutive weeks and takes place from 3pm to 5pm Eastern Time on the same day each week. This timing accommodates multiple time zones.
Each interactive virtual leadership training session combines live instruction, skill-building exercises, and collaborative learning via Zoom. Cohort size varies, but every student participates in small group discussion using virtual breakout rooms.
Students receive digital worksheets and handouts, assessment tools, and implementation guides, and get lifetime access to session recordings. Work for the course is largely confined to the scheduled session hours (translation: thereā€™s no homework).
